РЕRESULTS OF THE TECHNICAL INSPECTION OF BUILDINGS THAT WERE INFLUENCED BY THE EXPLOSIVE WAVE AS A RESULT OF THE ROCKET FIRE

Abstract

After February 24, 2022, in all regions of Ukraine, with the beginning of a full-scale war, a large number of buildings and structures of civilian, industrial, agricultural, and military purposes were damaged and destroyed as a result of shelling and bombing. The purpose of the technical inspection of buildings is to determine their actual technical condition after damage as a result of military aggression and the possibility of further safe operation. The impact of the shock wave on structures depends on the distance, the type of explosion and the size of the explosive. Blast waves affect building structures as short-term dynamic loads. 4 buildings at the military facility were inspected. Building No. 1 was the epicenter of the explosion, the extent of its destruction was complete destruction. The distance from the epicenter of the explosion to building No. 2 is 85 m. The overall technical condition of building No. 2 at the time of the inspection is not suitable for normal operation. The building suffered a slight degree of destruction. To ensure reliable and safe operation of the building, repair work must be carried out. The distance from the epicenter of the explosion to building No. 3 is 60 m. The overall technical condition of building No. 3 at the time of the inspection is emergency. The building was moderately damaged. To ensure reliable and safe operation of the building, it is necessary to carry out work on their reinforcement, as well as major repairs, for the structures. The distance from the epicenter of the explosion to building No. 4 is 28 m. The overall technical condition of building No. 4 at the time of the inspection is emergency. The building was moderately damaged. To ensure reliable and safe operation of the building, it is necessary to carry out dismantling and repair work for the structures. Based on the results of diagnostics of the technical condition of structures and buildings No. 2 - No. 4 as a whole, recommendations were made to restore their operational suitability.
