The article presents an analysis of literary sources on the issue of foam concrete modification. The analysis of scientific works in this direction showed that insufficient attention is paid to the issue of modifying heat-insulating foam concrete with additives of plasticizers and microsilica. Therefore, this topic is very relevant. Its solution ultimately contributes to: improving the quality of finished products, which is expressed in increasing its strength without changing thermal conductivity; reduction of its cost price due to disposal of secondary products of industrial production.
The use of plasticizers and ultradisperse fillers will make it possible to achieve physical and mechanical properties of non-autoclaved foam concrete comparable to autoclaved concrete at the same average density. Currently, a large number of plasticizers and additives have appeared, the use of which in foam concrete technology requires research and is relevant.
