THE USE OF POLYMER COMPOSITIONS TO REINFORCE FERROCONCRETE ELEMENTS
Abstract
Were analyzed the chemical composition of the polymer compositions and their properties and purpose. Were brought examples of implementation and use of certain types of compositions for increasing the bearing capacity of ferroconcrete elements. Also describes the comparative characteristics and the use of such compositions as "Sylar", VIATRON-5 and CNT. Polymer composition "Silor" is a monomer, which after polymerization is converted to polymer. When applied to the surface of the structure after chemical interaction with the concrete, strengthens the surface, protects it from destruction, creates an additional adhesion layer. VIATRON-5 and CNT is epoxypolymers compositions, which are used for protection of reinforced concrete elements during solidification due to low temperature. Scientists have conducted a large number of theoretical and practical experiments to ensure that the national construction industry with high quality polymeric compositions. As a result the findings of the importance of the study of the above mentioned materials and introduction of innovative technologies in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of reinforced concrete structures and constructions.
