ANALYSIS OF THE DEPENDENCIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE COMPLETE TIMBER MECHANICAL STATE «σ-u» DIAGRAMS

The article gives a detailed analysis of the literature on the construction of the timber mechanical state "σ-u" diagrams. The article also shows the scope of timber - it is industrial and civil construction (floors, windows, doors, various units and parts, floors and coatings of buildings, structures, etc.), road and rail construction (bridges, floorings, piles, sleepers, platforms), shipbuilding, agriculture. The problem of the internal structure features influence (macro- and microstructure) on the operation and calculation of wood and structures based on it is also indicated. Earlier it has been proved that one of the main factors and indicators of the timber mechanical properties is its strength and deformability, and therefore, the construction of complete diagrams of the mechanical state (with a descending branch) under experimental and theoretical studies is an urgent task for researchers. The article indicates that a large number of foreign and domestic scientists have been studying this problem over the past decades. Dependences were given and analyzed with the help of which it would be possible to describe the σ-u diagrams (exponential, polynomial, trigonometric, fractional). The author of the article concluded that the construction and description of such diagrams will allow more widely and fully reveal the stress-strain state of various types of wood and their real work on various types of load.
