The scientific article is aimed at developing an effective and adaptive construction project management system and creating a mechanism for implementing innovative projects based on BIM to improve the functional management of the construction organization. The results of the study allow to improve the information aspects and facilitate the integration of the latest technologies into construction processes, thereby training more qualified personnel. A number of effective recommendations and mechanisms for better use of BIM at all stages of the project life cycle with future dissemination and popularization of the given direction were highlighted. This is possible in cooperation with external companies and studying the European experience. The possibility of state regulation for the use of BIM in the construction industry of Ukraine is being considered. In the future, it is proposed to consider the concept of introducing BIM technology in the design activities of construction companies. It should be understood that all the shortcomings, including the small number of qualified personnel is an important problem. It can be solved by studying information modeling in the universities of our country. Among the advantages of BIM, first of all, is the ability to quickly and conveniently for all participants in the construction to replace structural and architectural components, to design engineering equipment, the properties of which meet the modern level of requirements, technical supervision with preliminary warning of repair work during the operation of the building, as well as to adjust design solutions in the process of design activities. Despite the fact that support from the government is still quite low, a number of adopted draft laws indicate that the state seeks to increase productivity in the construction sector of Ukraine. However, due to the lack of widespread knowledge about BIM and the low level of proficiency in it, in many construction organizations this process is still at the initial level or completely absent.
