Abstract

The article states that the problem of energy efficiency is global in nature. Therefore, the countries of the world have been taking concrete steps to solve this problem and save the planet for many years. Ukraine fully supports such aspirations and does not stand aside. Currently, the government of the country has developed many sectoral strategies that contain climate elements - environmental, energy, transport, etc. Cross-sectoral strategic documents have also been agreed - the National Economic Strategy until 2030, the Nationally Determined Contribution of Ukraine to the Paris Climate Agreement (NDC2), the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP), etc. Instead, in solving the problem of energy efficiency in buildings, the industrial sector is mainly taken care of, while the private sector (with a significant share in the structure of energy consumption in the country) remains practically neglected. Current energy consumption, exceeding of limits, increase of resources and their possible limitation require urgent application of the latest scientific and technological developments in the field of energy efficiency. World experience proves that the introduction of the latest technologies can reduce energy consumption by 10 to 20%. Therefore, Ukrainian households should not ignore them, but, on the contrary, should study in detail and determine the feasibility of their introduction in domestic practice. This paper analyzes the thermal efficiency of a building on the example of a specific private house. A trend analysis of the temperature regime and wind speed was carried out and their impact on gas consumption was determined. The results of energy audit and thermographic survey of a part of the house are presented. The TheromTerra SmartWall technology is briefly described and the feasibility of its application by Ukrainian households to ensure energy efficiency of buildings is determined. It is substantiated that the improvement of the heat engineering equipment of the house and the use of the latest ThermoTerra technology will allow each owner of a private house not only to save their money, but also to withstand the challenges of today. In the case of practical application of a number of proposals, it will allow to obtain an economic effect, environmental effect, energy-saving effect and comfort for the owner.
