The design of a large-scale reinforced concrete model of a cross-ribbed beam span structure is presented. During the experiment, the peculiarities of spatial work and regularities of load distribution between beams across and along the span were investigated. Experimentally revealed differences between the elastic and elastoplastic stages of each beam of the model.
It is experimentally confirmed that in the elastic-plastic stage of work the bending moments in such beams will be 25-30% less than during the elastic work of those beams, this is the hidden load capacity of cross-ribbed span structures, which must be taken into account when recalculating span structures on the new normalized temporary loads A15 and NK100 based on <Typical Project №56>.
