The relevance of the article's topic is driven by the need for development in the construction sector in Ukraine, particularly due to economic challenges and the impact of ongoing military conflict. The necessity for attracting foreign investments and financial support from international organizations becomes imperative to address these challenges. However, effective utilization of these funds necessitates a transparent and efficient management system. One key component of such a system is the construction pricing mechanism. An informative, flexible, and efficient construction pricing system would enable the control of material and technical resource expenses in construction, ensuring monitoring of optimal prices for materials and equipment, and facilitating the adoption of new technologies while ensuring their efficient utilization. Among the contemporary tools that can be employed to optimize the processes of determining the cost of construction projects is Building Information Modeling (BIM).
BIM allows for the automatic generation of cost estimates and provides access to real-time information on resource costs at any stage of the project. This contributes to the optimization of pricing processes and reduction of costs in construction.
The current situation in Ukraine's construction sector underscores the critical need for advancement, particularly amidst economic hardships exacerbated by the ongoing military conflict. To surmount these challenges, it is imperative to attract foreign investments and financial aid from international bodies. However, efficient utilization of these resources demands a transparent and effective management framework, with the construction pricing system standing out as a crucial component. An adaptive, transparent, and efficient pricing system is essential for overseeing material and technical resource expenditures in construction, facilitating the monitoring of optimal pricing for materials and equipment, and fostering the integration of innovative technologies while ensuring their effective deployment.
